Professional care and loving support are the most important things that seriously ill and dying people need. We need your support so that we can continue to guarantee this with our work at Hospiz Elias. The Hospice and Palliative Care Act (HPG) regulates the funding of inpatient and outpatient hospice services in Germany. According to this law, the statutory health insurance funds reimburse 95% of the eligible costs for inpatient hospices. The remaining 5% of the costs are covered by the facilities themselves through donations and voluntary work.
WHERE YOUR DONATION WORKS
Thanks to your donations, we can provide our patients and their relatives with better quality help. For example, your donations enable us to expand a broader range of counseling and support services, provide in-depth training and further education for volunteer hospice caregivers and provide more support for relatives during pre- and aftercare.
You also help us to make infrastructural improvements to improve the quality of our work. Construction measures, the maintenance of our gardens, the expansion of our vehicle fleet in the outpatient care sector: all of this ensures a better quality of life for our patients and ensures that they receive good care.
