The Specialized Outpatient Palliative Care (SAPV) at Hospiz Elias is looking for full-time or part-time palliative care nurses (m/f/d) to join our team as soon as possible

With the guiding principle “LIFE… A LIFE LONG.”, the Elias Hospice, a facility of St. Dominikus Krankenhaus und Jugendhilfe GmbH based in Ludwigshafen am Rhein, supports people with serious, incurable illnesses. Outpatient and inpatient. Around 34 employees and a strong team of volunteers pursue the goal of providing patients with the best possible quality of life, dignity and participation.

• As a registered nurse (m/f/d), you will accompany our patients and take into account the special features of specialized outpatient palliative care
• You feel responsible for your patients and enjoy working in an interdisciplinary team to provide the best possible care for patients
• As a contact person for patients and their relatives, you demonstrate empathy on a daily basis
• You are involved in quality assurance measures

• Completed training as a nurse (m/f/d), healthcare and nursing assistant (m/f/d) or geriatric nurse (m/f/d) and specialist training in palliative care of 160 hours in accordance with §39a SGB V (not a prerequisite) will help you to recognize the need for care and initiate the care process
• Thanks to previous professional experience in a comparable position, you ensure professional care monitoring
• You are committed, enjoy working in a team and responsible multidisciplinary care for our outpatients, who we accompany on their journey
  In your day-to-day work, you recognize priorities even in stressful situations and share our demand for the highest quality of palliative care support
• You identify with the goals of a church-based organization
